The sixth annual A-MAY-Zing Days is a month-long celebration recognizing individuals, organizations and activities that make West Des Moines a great place to live, work and play.   Greater Des Moines residents are invited to be a part of West Des Moines’ biggest celebration ever – with events and activities spread across all corners of our community.

The calendar of events showcases annual favorites and also welcomes new events like the Jordan House/Bennett School Ice Cream Social, VJ Family Night and National Public Works Week. We conclude our annual celebration with Smokin’ in the Junction, two great days of barbecue and free live music in Historic Valley Junction.

This year, multiple AMD event proceeds will benefit Booster Pak, which provides nutritious food to 600+ area children on weekends and school breaks when they do not have access to free or reduced meal programs. Find more information on-site at many
of our events or at boosterpak.org. We will also be distributing literature and collecting funds on-site to support the non-profit.
